Privacy Policy

What we collect

To provide an account we store your email address, your name, and a securely hashed password. We also keep the alerts you set, the trades you track, and the AI reports you generate, so you can return to them. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

We also keep a record of how you use the app — the pages you open, the screens you run, the screen filters you change, the tickers you look up, inspect, chart or research, and whether you arrived from one of our alert emails, with the time of each. It is used to understand which parts of SpotTickers are worth keeping and to support you if something goes wrong. It records actions and ticker symbols only: never prices, position sizes, or anything else you type into a field. This record is retained for as long as your account exists, and is deleted along with everything else if your account is removed.

Third-party data providers

Market data, fundamentals, and AI reports are produced using third-party services (market-data and language-model providers). Ticker symbols you look up are sent to those providers to fetch prices and generate research. We do not share your identity with them.

Cookies

We use a single sign-in cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies, and no usage data is shared with anyone outside SpotTickers. Some preferences (such as an accepted disclaimer) are stored locally in your browser.

Your choices

You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time via the Contact page.
